Every player is a team, every table is a field. You enter the set score, 3:1, not the balls until 11.

Table tennis tournaments, one player is a team.

Typical format

Individually in groups of four

Rating

3 winning sets, set up to 11

Playtime

about 30 minutes per table

This is how you set up the table tennis tournament

Individual and sentence status

In singles, you create each player as a team with their name. In doubles, the pair is a team with two names on the roster. The scoring is based on sentences. If you win the best of five, you record it as 3:1 or 3:2. The sets up to 11 remain on the table.

Tables and rankings

Each table is a field. In the planner, around 30 minutes per game is enough, finals with best of seven longer. There is no connection to click-TT or the TTR ranking list. Groups, plan and the results of the day run here. Anyone who registers for the association then transmits the results themselves.

Typical tournaments

01

Club championship

Players as teams, groups of four, the first in the knockout round. Finals get a longer slot.

02

Hobby tournament

Registration with entry fee, no report to the association. Same group logic.

03

Double

The couple is a team. As a separate class or as a separate event in the afternoon.

Here's how to set it up

Four simple steps and the basic structure is in place.

  1. 1

Rating on sentences. In the group, enter 3:1 for a won best of five, not the balls up to 11.

  2. 2

Create each table as a field. Table 7 is not table 1.

  3. 3

In singles, each player as a team with their name. In doubles, the pair with two names in the squad.

  4. 4

Slot to about 30 minutes. Finals with Best of Seven are longer, otherwise the last set goes into the award ceremony.

Questions about the table tennis tournament

Can I create individuals instead of teams?

Yes. Each player is a team, the name is his name. In doubles, the pair is a team with both names on the roster.

How do I enter a Best of Five?

The score is: 3:0, 3:1 or 3:2. The balls up to 11 remain on the table. Best of Seven accordingly, about 4:2.

How do I set up the tables?

Each table has a field. In the planner about 30 minutes per game, for a longer finale just stretch the slot there.

Is there a connection to click-TT or TTR?

No. EasyTourney runs the tournament. Ranking points are transferred based on who reported the tournament to the association.

Who enters the results?

The tournament management via the helper link, or the players via their team's link. You take back an incorrect 3:1 and the table recalculates.
